What we collect, why, and how to make us delete it.
MedellinAirport.co operates this website as an independent airport information and travel service. We are not affiliated with José María Córdova International Airport, its operator, or Aerocivil. Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect sensitive personal data.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: the licensed transport company assigned to your booking (limited to what they need to perform the trip); service providers who operate parts of our infrastructure such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing; and authorities where we are legally required to do so.
When booking opens, card and local payment details will be handled by a third-party payment processor under its own terms and security standards. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and aggregate analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core pages will still work. If we add advertising or affiliate tracking cookies, we will update this policy and disclose it on the pages concerned.
Launch-list emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to resolve them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Booking and payment records are kept for the period required by Colombian commercial, tax, and consumer-protection rules.
Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012 and its implementing decrees) gives data subjects the right to know what personal data is held about them, to have it corrected or updated, to request proof of consent, to be informed about how it has been used, to complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, and to revoke consent or request deletion where the conditions for that apply. If you are contacting us from the EU or UK, we will honour equivalent access and deletion requests.
To exercise any of these, write to us through the contact page. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to booking records. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Some of our providers operate outside Colombia. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.
We'll update this page when our practices change, and we'll revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting bookings will be communicated directly to affected customers.
